Badminton general rules:
1.
It is played with a racket and a shuttlecock. The racket is very
light and has a thin cord, ready to resist the hitting of the
steering wheel.
2.
The game court is rectangular and divided in its half by a red one.
For the individual matches the court is used without the side aisles.
For the doubles matches the whole court is used.
3.
The objective of the game is to make the opponent lose by:
-
Send the shuttlecock out of the field.
-
It will not hit the steering shuttlecock.
-
Hit the shuttlecock against the net and fall into your own field.
-
Hit the shuttlecock and not pass it to the opposite field.
4.
The service is performed diagonally and is translated in the service
line of the opposite field. In the serve we must hit the wheel below
the height of our hips; It's missing if you hit it over.
5.
The matches are both individual and double games. That is, to win the
game you have to win two sets. Men's singles and doubles matches are
played at 15 points, those of singles and women's doubles and mixed
doubles are played at 11 points
